Sex Signals: And we get it.
I didn't know what to expect of the program. All I knew was that I was tired and didn't want to go. The only reason I ended up going because it was mandatory. I arrived five minutes late thanks to my husband but didn't miss anything. Once the two speakers began talking I started liking it. My husband on the other hand had decided music was a better choice than listening to two kids ramble on about mixed signals. It was his loss. I really enjoyed myself and found the rape case very interesting. It was a good arguement and thought of my English class and how we would be learning to argue. I had seriously thought the guy being accused of rape was innocent considering the victim had put the moves on first and kept giving him mixed signals. However, she said no and his permission to have sex with her was taken from him. Mixed signals or not she clearly said NO. I learned that no matter the situation you have that right to give and take away permission.

Twelve Angry Men
The movie was great. The way the case was put out in the beginning lead to believe that the boy being tried was indeed guilty. Once Mr. Davis starts questioning the case there is more doubt as to if the criminal is guilty. I thought that Mr. Davis uses logic and reasoning because he paid attention to details that no one else sought. His argument was very effective because in the end all the jurors declared the "criminal" innocent. There was enough doubt to claim the boy innocent than there were evidence to put him in death row.
